When will the results of the IB May 2023 Exam be released?

The results will be officially out on the 5th of July 2023, but they'll become accessible to you online on the subsequent day, the 6th of July 2023. It rests upon your school's policy whether they opt to distribute the results in print before making them available online.

How to access your IB Exam results online?

To view your IB results, you can log in directly on the designated IBO online platform HERE. (https://candidates.ibo.org/index.cfm)

To do so, you'll need your unique identifier and your PIN. These should have been given to you by your IB Coordinator at the start of the year.

Given that this information was likely shared quite a while back, when the day of IB results seemed more like a far-off tale, you might have misplaced or forgotten these details. If your login details are missing, misplaced or, quite improbably, ingested, please reach out to your school to retrieve them.

The release of results happens at various times, depending on your timezone. Typically, they become available between 12pm and 2pm. However, don't worry if your results don't show up immediately.

What should you do if your IB exam doesn't go as expected?

If your IB exam results didn't meet your expectations, don't despair. The first step is considering retaking the exams you struggled with. The IB program allows students to retake individual exams to boost their overall score.

Before you retake any exams, though, reflect on what led to the initial results. Identify your weak areas and create a plan to improve them.

If you decide to retake an exam, consider seeking additional help in the form of IB tutoring. Tutors can provide personalized guidance and help you understand the content and exam techniques more deeply. They can also assist you in creating a study plan, which can be invaluable in managing your time and ensuring that you cover all necessary material.

Remember, one exam doesn't define your whole academic journey. With a positive attitude, a clear plan, and the right help from an IB tutor, you have every chance to improve and reach your academic goals.
